Listening and learning how to hear what others are saying is a skill that you would assume would be natural for most humans. However, very rarely can someone say that “listening” was intentionally taught to them in a school setting, a family setting, or even a church setting…
The reason is simple. Most people (even our leaders) probably don’t know the importance of listening or even how to do it themselves. Don’t get us wrong…we aren’t pros at the listening and empathy game just yet, but we are actively developing the skill every day. You should too!
